Yani has been inspired by nature – and, in particular, flowers and plants – throughout her painting career. The colours, textures and shapes conjur up different moods, many of which Yani captures in her artwork. Yani sees every flower and plant as unique, with each responding to different techniques in different ways. The play of sunlight and shadows lets Yani apply her bold and dynamic style for dramatic results.
